The spending is accelerating. The visibility is not.
BCG research shows 60 per cent of enterprises report minimal or no value from AI investments — and a significant driver is that most cannot see what they are spending. BenchmarkIT shows 80 to 85 per cent of enterprises miss AI cost forecasts by more than 25 per cent.
