Five-year multiple-award contract provides opportunities to compete for construction, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects supporting VA healthcare facilities throughout Florida and South Georgia.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. and TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — PKS-Burgos JV, LLC, a joint venture between Polu Kai Services, LLC (PKS) and Burgos Group, LLC, a member of the Prairie Band LLC Family of Companies, has been awarded a position on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8 Mainland Construction Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC).

The five-year, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract has a shared ceiling of $3 billion across all awarded contract holders, positioning PKS-Burgos JV to compete for future task orders supporting VA medical centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) throughout Florida and South Georgia.

Under this contract vehicle, the joint venture will provide general construction, facility renovations, demolition, building alterations, infrastructure improvements, and healthcare facility modernization. Projects may involve clinical, inpatient, and ancillary support areas, as well as mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, roofing, and HVAC systems.

The award represents a significant milestone for the joint venture, combining the federal construction experience, technical capabilities, and project delivery resources of both partner companies.

Polu Kai Services brings extensive experience supporting federal clients, including previous participation as a prime contract holder on VA VISN 8 construction contract vehicles.
